Mixed Developments VS Integrated Developments

What's the Difference?

Mixed developments (or mixed-use developments) are developments that encompass a residential condo and one or more commercial elements. The commercial element is typically a shopping mall, but could also be offices, hotel, and/or serviced apartments.
Integrated developments are a special type of mixed development. The main difference is they have a direct link to a bus interchange and/or MRT station below. Similar to mixed developments, they could also have offices, hotels and/or serviced apartments in addition to the shopping mall. Integrated developments represent only 2.4% of the total housing stock (as at 2021), so they are very rare.
Mixed developments and integrated developments are extremely popular with both home buyers and investors, as the convenience of amenities and direct access to public transport nodes are top priorities in today's busy society.
