Tanah Merah’s latest condo development by Keppel Land next to the Tanah Merah MRT is now pending approval for sale. The land has been cleared and construction on the showflat has begun.
Construction at Keppel Land’s Tanah Merah site
Located at the junction between New Upper Changi Road and Bedok Road (official address is New Upper Changi Road), the 343,171 sq ft site (with a GFA of 549,078 sq ft) was bought by Keppel Land in October last year.
The site, according to URA, has a plot ratio of 1.6, making it the site with the lowest plot ratio in the vicinity (other condo sites, such as Urban Vista, range from 2.1 to 2.8 in plot ratio).
Combined with the larger land area, this new condo would be potentially less densely built than its neighbours.
When constructed, the condo will be less than 5 minutes’ walk to Tanah Merah MRT Interchange, with direct trains to the Expo/Changi Business Park, Changi Airport, and CBD (Raffles Place and Tanjong Pagar).

It will be close to reputable schools such as Anglican High School, Temasek Junior College, and the upcoming Singapore University of Technology and Design.
A commercial hub is also in the works just across the road (on the other side of Tanah Merah MRT station), and will provide convenient shopping and dining options.

Update (6 July):
ERA has been appointed as a marketing agent for this condo development. It is pending approval for sale and is targeted to launch in late July 2013.
Construction on the showflat is almost complete, and the interior is being furnished.
The condo will be jointly developed by Keppel Land and China Vanke and will feature 9 blocks of 726 units comprising 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom SOHO, 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom SOHO, 3 bedroom, 4 bedroom, 4 bedroom dual key, and penthouse units.
Typical unit sizes range from 500 sqft – 1450 sqft.
